Very cool ...

Very cool indeed - and precisely the reason I stopped learning all those years ago. I was never going to be able to play like that. Now, if I'd known about Ron Burgendy and his jazz flute back then it might have turned out very differently...
So, I investigated William's claim of a beatboxing flute version of the Sesame Street theme, and I not only found that (really cool, thank you William!), but this guy (Greg Pattillo) also does an amazing beatboxing flute (two words that really don't belong together, if you ask me, but who knew?) for Peter and the Wolf.
Maybe he's too retro for Erin, but have you introduced your daughter to the unbelievable talents of Ian Anderson as he fronts for Jethro Tull? I've seen him twice in concert--and though he finds it difficult to play his flute while standing on one leg (as he was wont to do in decades past)he's still quite amazing.

I finally had a chance to watch this. I really like it. Listened to a couple of the others, too.
Sure is a lot cooler than Marian the Librarian.
