They exhaust me.
Cute? Sure. But high maintenance. And if the regimen from Saturday (repeat four times daily) isn't enough ... well, they're reached an age.
What we had on Friday was a pack of eight puppies. What we have today are eight sets of claws, needle-sharp teeth, and pouncy, growly little balls of attitude in cute packaging.
The enclosure isn't big enough for that much energy ... so we let them out to run around (knowing they will drop a few presents along the way. Wwhat the hell - the carpet is going to have to be cleaned anyway)
Of course, it's my office, and there's a pool table in my office and files and books under the pool table and all sorts of nooks and crannies for a tiny puppy to hide and find something to chew - like, for instance, a power cord or phone cord. So you have to chaperone, even though Ty does a great job (in the video, you can actually see how she plays with them, including at least one episode of Puppy Tipping).
So ... it's a good thing they're cute, is all I'm saying. Enjoy.
Oh My God!!!!!

The wagging tails! The curiosity that knows no bounds! The way they manhandle the stuffed animals with tiny shows of ferocity! Yeah...you'll miss it. Maybe not the little puppy treats they leave around for you to step on. But you'll miss them.

Hang on, I have to clean up the mess left behind by my exploding head.
Oh, the cuteness.

Oh man... I can totally relate to Ty here (and in the post above). I only have three kids, but it feels like a litter when they all get going in different directions... 'cept she's better at corralling them puppies.

Is that my dear, sweet Juliet chewing on that cord? The girl is sassy.

ha, ha, ha .... nothing like a pup for chewing those things that are either dangerous or most important! My latest 'fur-kid' just chewed up a piece I'd just spent 2½ days carving! 'Pups do the darnedest things.'
