Before we got married, I was told to make a decision on what I wanted first -- a puppy or a baby(the other would have to wait a few years). I was fairly convinced I had made the right decision. Damn you and your cute puppies.!
By the way, Allie and I decided that there is no cuter amount of things in the world than a mound of puppies. A writhing mound of puppies.
Aaaack -- so. cute! And I'm just rubbed raw enough today in the "love for baby animals" department, that this is indeed a dangerous picture for me to see. But I love it!
OK, here’s your theme for names: Snow White and the 7 Dwarfs: Bashful, Dopey, Grumpy, Sneezy, Doc, Happy, Sleepy + ...Snow White, of course. On the other hand, none of them is white, to say nothing of “pure white.” So you could have a contest to name the last one.
On the other hand... rather than thinking in terms of 8 total puppies... what's the male-female distribution? It's hard to tell with 'em all lying belly down. :-)
Allie: Good theme groups. I'm rather fond of the Shakespearean names, but the singers are good, too. (Interesting that the females are the first names, and the males are the last names!)
So, based on the male-female distribution, here is my culinary-inspired suggestion:
Rosemary, Ginger, Laurel, Sage, Dill, Sesame, Basil, Oregano.
I love naming animals and even though I would not want to keep seven puppies, I'd be tempted if I knew I'd get to name them all. Well...okay...the cuteness would certainly influence me a little.

Ok, I got it! Name them after the Von Trapp Family from the Sound of Music.
(How pathetic is it that this was one of my first thoughts when I woke up this morning -- what to name the puppies... gah.)

Don't name them! Then they will develop personalities according to their names and then you will be stuck with them. Don't do it.

See the Internets will save you from this, they will adopt them all....you just wait.

Two words. Nature's Miracle. Best pet mess cleaner-upper I've found. Please name one of the black ones Sally.
And, interestingly, it appears the plastic puppy wall in the photo is the same thing we used to make baby-jail for our son.....

Five boys, three girls by my count. We have two name themes that we have been tossing around:
1)June, Patsy, Dolly, Cash, Presley, Nelson, Brooks, and Jackson.
2)Desdemona, Ophelia, Juliet, Romeo, Puck, Antony, Caesar, and Orlando.
But there is no rush to name them so we are still open to suggestions.

Are you trying to KILL us with the cuteness?
