I waste an awful lot of time waiting for good things that aren't going to happen. An awful lot. I think they may, and I hope they will ... but of course, that's never enough.
In the end, I feel stupid for having wasted the time.
But not for the hoping.
OK, I'll bite--what good thing did you waste time waiting on only for it not to happen?

It could be worse. You could wake up in your NEWLY painted and decorated bedroom to find it painted in dog shit and spend an hour cleaning it up, only to be late to work.
